My name is Shinya Matsui and I enjoy creating apps every day.
I was born and raised in Kanagawa Prefecture of Japan, and after graduating from university, I started working at a national research institute as an administrative stuff member. At that time, I was in the middle of "IT Bubble". I was very interested in information-related work. Perhaps because of this, my boss assumed that I was good at computer technology, and assigned me to the information systems department.
For two years, I learnt requirements definition and business design techniques. However, I failed to learn the programming, which I wanted to learn.
After that, I had no connection with IT-related work. Moreover, I did not fit in at work and was diagnosed with an adjustment disorder. Fotunately I overcame my health issues and I started to learn programming again, but it didn't work well. That made me feel like I was never going to be able to develop apps.
However, in 2020, so-called "no-code revolution" suddenly became the talk of the town. Even if you don't know how to program, you can develop apps! Since then, I've been learning about no-code tools (especially Glide) intensively.
